Its ammo is incredibly expensive in relation to the exp gained. You only gain 2exp/dmg, therefore giving the cannon an effective max hit of 15 with each ammo costing 190 bucks each. Suity Level Maximum is an achievement that requires the player to deal at least 2,475 damage to a rock in a single swing, including critical hits and rockertunities. Although damage dealt to rocks when mining is capped at the total hit points of the rock, it is possible to roll higher, meaning this achievement is unlocked by the damage the player would have dealt, not the amount of damage actually dealt.
Some of the boosts that can be used to increase the damage include:
- Using a pickaxe of earth and song or elder rune pickaxe + 5
- Wearing the magic golem outfit
- Using items that boost Mining, such as a ring of whispers, or a lava titan
- Using items that boost Strength, such as a supreme strength potion, berserk blood essence, overload or berserker aura
- Using crystal skillchompas which increase the critical hit damage dealt to rocks by 70.
The dwarven ramhammer cannot be used to get this achievement.
A puzzle-solving perspective of the achievement[edit | edit source]
Using a t90 pickaxe and skill boosts would not be sufficient to earn the achievement. Take the following set-up as an example: maxed stats, elder rune pickaxe +5, magic golem outfit, lava titan, overload. Since rockertunity strikes always take the average pickaxe damage as the base, we take 95 as the damage from the pickaxe. Damage from critical hit is 100, mining 109, strength 11. The max damage this set-up can provide is when critically hitting a rockertunity, which is (95+100+109+11)*7 = 2205. It is a long way from 2475, so more skill boosts are not enough to bridge the gap. This means the 70 bonus critical damage from crystal skillchompas is a necessary part of the solution.
However, using crystal skillchompas brings in some restrictions. The skillchompas must be wielded to be truly using them, otherwise the toolbelted t90 pickaxe takes precedence, and the skillchompas do not provide extra critical damage while still being consumed. But they are a t70 mining tool, so mining t80 and t90 rocks would carry a penalty from hardness. Under these constraints, a good set-up is to mine a t70 rock (necrite or phasmatite), with some crystal skillchompas wielded, the magic golem outfit worn, and a lava titan summoned. For a player with maxed skill, the base damage from crystal skillchompa is 74, and the damages from critical hit, mining level and strength level are 170, 109 and 9 respectively. When critically hitting a rockertunity, the damage is (74+170+109+9)*7 = 2534, which is enough for the achievement, with some leeway for players with lower skill levels.
This explains the role that crystal skillchompa plays in the set-up. The magic golem outfit is also necessary, because a x6 multiplier is not enough to reach 2475 damage. With just these 2 tools, 99 mining and 90 strength, the max damage is (74+170+99+9)*7 = 2464, which is a small mining level boost away from 2475. That's why a third boost is needed, but almost anything would do. Lava titan is the biggest among the minor boosts, so that's what is recommend to use.
In conclusion, the set-up needed for the achievement is:
- Nearly maxed mining level, and preferably a high strength level.
- Some crystal skillchompas wielded.
- A full set of magic golem outfit.
- A mining level booster, such as lava titan.
- Additional boosts if missing too many mining/strength levels, such as ring of whispers, god banner and overload. Note that strength boosts are only 1/10th as effective as mining boosts.
- Mining a t70 spot, which means necrite or phasmatite, until critically hitting a rockertunity.

Magic Damage is an equipment statistic that functions as a damage multiplier that increased the damage of magic spells. The effects of most equipped items can be seen at the bottom of the stats window (labelled Magic damage: +x%).
Both players and non-player characters can utilise magic damage, although when casting Monster Examine on an attackable NPC, their magic damage is instead labelled as 'Magic str bonus'.
There are various methods by which players can increase their potential maximum Magic damage. The effects of most equipped items can be seen at the bottom of the stats window (labelled Magic damage: +x%).
Temporarily increasing your Magic level only increases your accuracy, but not damage (with the exception of Magic Dart, salamanders, trident of the seas/swamp and sanguinesti staff).

- It is important to note that items with a magic attack bonus such as the Ahrim's robetop do not boost your max hit, just your accuracy. Similarly, items with a magic defence bonus, such as the black d'hide body don't affect the maximum damage you will take from spells, just your opponent's accuracy.
- Prayers such as Mystic Will, Mystic Lore, Mystic Might, and Augury only increase accuracy, not max hit.

Charge is a spell which temporarily increases the maximum damage of the three God spells by 10 (providing the player is wearing the corresponding god cape). The spell requires a Magic level of 80.

Magic Dart is a spell that increases in damage the higher the player's Magic level is. At 50, the base maximum hit is 15 and at 99 it is 19 (20 if boosts are used). However, it can only be cast by a slayer's staff, its enchanted version or a (toxic) staff of the dead.
The damage is significantly increased if an enchanted Slayer's staff is used to cast the spell while on task. At 75 (the minimum to wield the enchanted staff), the base maximum hit is 25, and at 99 it is 29, up to 31 if an imbued heart boosts from 99 to 108.
Salamanders[edit | edit source]
Salamanders can be used to attack using Magic. The maximum hit increases with the player's Magic level. black salamanders, the strongest salamander, has a base maximum hit of 17 at 70, and at 99 it is 24, up to 27 if an imbued heart boosts from 99 to 108.
Trident of the seas/swamp[edit | edit source]
Tridents work differently to other staves. The damage is dependent on the player's Magic level, like Magic Dart.
At level 75 Magic, the base damage is 20, this increases up to 28 at level 99 (29 if boosted). Likewise, stat-reductions will lower the damage, but the minimum max hit will never fall below 20; even if the player's Magic level is reduced below 75.
The table below assumes you are only using the trident without any Magic damage bonuses.
